Live maps
Three kinds of map, and they're not the same. Live traffic maps animate messages moving across the mesh, as heard by that group's observer radios. Node maps show where repeaters are. Coverage maps show where signals have been measured. We opened every one and labeled it.
National and worldwide
Regional maps
14 live traffic, 9 node maps, 21 coverage. Each opened in a browser on Oct 29, 2026. They run on volunteers' servers and can go down.
The maps labeled Live traffic are the ones that animate messages. Some ask you to tick a "verify you are human" box first, and CoreScope maps have a Live button to press.
Put your area on the map
An observer is a MeshCore radio connected to a computer that uploads every packet it hears. Regional maps draw their lines from those uploads, so an area with no observer stays dark even if it has repeaters.
Ask your local group
Find out which MQTT server their map uses. Find your group.
Set up the uploader
Connect a radio to an always-on computer and run meshcoretomqtt, the common observer script.
No map yet? Run one
Use meshcore-mqtt-live-map or CoreScope. Then tell us so we can list it.
